Notes

A couple of things worth knowing.

Windows install — the SmartScreen warning

You'll see "Windows protected your PC" on first install — that's because the installer isn't yet code-signed by a commercial certificate authority. Click More info → Run anyway. The warning will clear automatically as more people install (Microsoft's SmartScreen reputation system) or immediately once we publish a signed build.

Why no PCs without an account?

Mia Relay only lets identified people start conversations. The Windows app won't connect to anything useful until you've created an account and confirmed your email. That's the whole point — the channel is private because everyone who can start a conversation has proved who they are.
